- Surface drusen may suggest chronicity
- Is usually flat or slightly elevated no more than 1mm
- Diameter typically <5mm

Naevus or Melanoma?
Typically, melanomas have overlying orange pigment and subretinal fluid
Subretinal fluid indicated typically via hyperAF lipofuscin, or OCT
diagnostic features
Risk of Naevus Change:

Fluid in subretina on OCT
Symptoms of visual loss or poor VA
Orange pigments
